ORGANOLEPTIC QUALITIES OF OCTOPUS

The octopus is a marine and carnivorous mollusk that can be found in tropical and temperate waters, namely in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea

It lives on a variety of bottoms, on which it crawls, although it can swim fast. It has a short life cycle, with a maximum of 3 years. Its diet is based on crabs, prawns and molluscs.

Octopus meat is all edible and much appreciated all over the world. Octopus is rich in mineral salts and B vitamins, while having a minimal fat content.
